Do you know someone in Curry or Roosevelt County who is housebound and worried about how they are going to get their next meal? If so, call us @ 575-763-6130 for an application for our Special Helpings Program.
Special Helpings is a program intended to reach out to seniors or housebound individuals in our local communities who are at risk of losing their independence due to a limited ability to shop and prepare meals for themselves. Each month, a box of food items prepared by volunteers is delivered to each program client. The goal of the program is to help keep housebound individuals independent as long as possible by providing easy-to-prepare foods while assuring that they receive an opportunity to have social contact. This program is not intended to be a complete resource for nutrition, but as a supplement to other meal resources such as Meals On Wheels, church and family assistance.

Are you curious about how the Food Bank of ENM works? Schedule a luncheon with your club or church group. We will provide a salad luncheon, give you a tour of the Food Bank and answer any questions you may have. Just call to arrange a date and time at: 575-763-6130.

Cash donations are a good way to help us stretch our supply. For every dollar donated, we can purchase 15 pounds of food. We also need cash to pay for items like fuel, refrigeration and storage supplies that enable us to ensure quality of all the food we provide.

Canned Foods
We always welcome donations of non-perishable foods. You or your group can collect food at any time and bring it by the Food Bank.
Volunteers Needed
Consider donating time at our Food Bank, fundraising at your organization, pitch in for community events, learn more about hunger in America and talk to your family, friends and neighbors about what we can do to change the face of hunger in Eastern New Mexico. Fighting hunger...feeding hope!
